Some people are just built for entertainment. For Chad Kaminski, the owner of Celebrity Productions, it started early — spotlighting community events across West Michigan for Mix 96 and I-96. That passion for music and connecting with a crowd never left him.
In 2001, Chad put it on hold to serve his country. After the Army, he took his skills to Las Vegas, sharpened his craft as a professional DJ, and eventually made his way back home to West Michigan with one clear mission: build an entertainment company that genuinely shows up for the couples and venues they serve.
Celebrity Productions was born — and for over 15 years, hundreds of events, and 150+ five-star reviews later, that mission hasn’t changed.
Celebrity Productions builds every event around you. Whether you’re planning an intimate backyard reception, a grand ballroom, or a full barn wedding at a venue like Adams Acres, everything gets customized — sound, lighting, and setup — to fit your guest count, your venue, and your vision. From 50 guests to 500, it’s all designed specifically for your day.

At Celebrity Productions, the relationship starts with a conversation — not when the music begins. They offer a free consultation before booking and ongoing planning support (both in-person and online) to help with timelines, music selections, flow, and every important detail.
Every event is fully insured, professionally set up, and they always have backup equipment on site just in case. If something hiccups behind the scenes, your guests won’t know a thing. (Even a cup of water. Ask Bob at Adams Acres for details.)
They keep their team small on purpose — just two DJs. That means when you book Celebrity Productions, you know exactly who’s walking through the door on your wedding day. No guessing. No last-minute substitutions. You meet your DJ, build that relationship, and they show up already knowing your night inside and out.
After booking, you’ll get access to an online planning portal where you can build your timeline, map out your announcements, and lock in every detail — plus a dedicated Guest Request Portal so your family and friends can submit their must-play songs ahead of time.
